About Us

Our mission is to educate the Nation's youth with the knowledge necessary to protect themselves and their loved ones from the dangers of skin cancer and UV exposure.

UV&Me is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2015 at the University of Southern California. The program was created to connect dedicated medical students with elementary, middle, and high school students in order to inspire America's youth to develop safe lifestyle practices. Specifically, UV&Me focuses on reducing the impact of UV exposure later in life by teaching children healthy habits that they can adopt the moment they walk out of the classroom.

UV&Me has partnered with IMPACT Melanoma to share cutting-edge, interactive multimedia presentations that promote sun safety. These presentations are delivered to our K-12 audience by medical students who have been educated in the fundamentals of skin cancer prevention by professional dermatologists.

Since its inception, UV&Me has delivered its modern, interactive presentation, free of charge, to primary school students in the comfort of the students' own classrooms. Each presentation is specifically tailored to be meaningful to whatever students age group views it. Schedule a visit from UV&Me today!
